ok my 7mgte afm was making a puffing noise, which caught my attention so i checked the ohms and this is what i got:
red termonal: ks
blk termonal: e1 got a 1 (which is what the ohm meter reads when not connected to anything)
blk: ks
red: e1 got a 105.1 reading ( its supposed to be...
are you sure the screeching is from the turbo? that is weird maybe something is rubbing in the turbo? which cant be good but with the ct 14psi is max benefical boost anything above that i hear is blowing heat.
i recommend the garret gt35r dont personall have one(because of pathetic budget) but...
get a bov the recirulates or get the stock one and plump it in. it goes from the 3000 pipe to bypass vavle to intake plus the little nipple for the vaccum.
yes i had the cam gears lined up with the black timing cover. and i dont have a timing light. but what i just did was inserted the cps and moved the cps to were the hole for the size 12mm bolt is at the bottom of notch thing, the ex. cam is 1 tooth off from str8 up and the gears on the cps are...

note: i do have the marks mis alined but when the gears mesh (with cams str8 up) it moves to the right like pic 2 of mine. when cam is not str8 up and i insert the cps (with marks misalined) it meshes perfect with marks lined up like pic 4 of mine.
ok your saying i have it backwards? lol im suposed to line the cps marks (like in pic 4) then insert it so the lines are like the lines in my pics 1, and 3?

yea in the pic is how the cps is when i insert it with cams not str8 up. but when i insert the cps (how its supossed to with rotor mark to the left of the cps mark) the little red line on the rotor part ends up to the right of the red mark on the cps when the cams are str8 up.

i snipped the wires on mine and wired in better condition clip on mine... lucky i got the same wires colors in the cps and harnees.. if u dont just remember to write down what wires went together..

ok i set my crank at 0 and have the cam gears lined up so im sure timing is right.

i had the coil pack disconnected to prime the engine before...
i soldered in a new wires for the coil pack i bought about 4 months ago. and i have had my car runing plenty of times since so i know i did it right and the coil is working.
