code 22 is temp to ecu. the reason its running rich.. the sensor is on the thermostat housing, has two wires i believe 1 dark green and 1 brown.. you can google its exact location. and verify wire colors :) hope this helps!
hello gentleman, i picked up a hks f-con piggy back to try it out, its currently on its way to me, but i was wondering if anyone had any experience with it, if so how did you like it,
mainly just want to know how well it'll keep my a/rs in check..
any input/ or 2cents are welcome.
do you check for injector pulse? if its starting at all then the inj are firing. what it sounds like is that you have a vacuum leak, meaning there is unmetered air geting "sucked in" somewhere after the afm..
hope this helps..
nokaoimk3 sweet build! i read thru the entire build last night! i wanna build my supra for drifting but im going the "2j" route
im in az too, would be nice to see this thing in person!
thank you guys for all of the info and help..
the problem ended up being the power wire to the starter was making contact with the housing on the starter.. lol
tweaked it away from the housing and VOILLA
no more arcing..
also tryed to connect the batt again.. and still showers sparks...
idk why its doing this.. its a new battery too bought it ten minutes before the issue arised.. dont have any spares or anything...
cant return batt now because the post are so destroyed..
im 99% sure i was connecting the pos pos to pos and neg to ground.
i only unpluged the wires going to the fuse box and pluged em i after said repairs.
dont think any fuses poped i know the fuses that you can see in from the top didnt because i looked and they werent il check the other fuses...
hey guys when i connect my battery post either neg then pos or vise versa it arcs hot enought to melt peices of the batt post and send it flying...
my assumption is that i have a neg wire touchig a pos wire somewhere
things ive done since last start: wired in another male plug for my...
yea like bioskyline said shim the waste gate w/ washers.. may take a few trys but its probably the cheapest and most reliable over a external wastegate
harness colors on a male side green plug coming from harness are:
black
blue
beige/yellow
red
green pplug harness on female side going to cps:
white
red
yellow
green
(i have a grey plug soldered on to my cps, but colors are the same.)
my supra is a 88'
hope this helps!
fuck.. 400hp at a mere 14 psi? with that kit i should make my goal of approx 450hp at 18ish psi..... does anyone know how much that turbo flows compared to a h1c holset?
how do you like the aem ems? thinking of geting 1... btw nice fricking build man, car looks/sounds incredably fun lol
deffinently get that turbo rebuilt/replaced... did you check for slight oil residue in the ex ports? did you get valve seals replaced w/ build? just trying to help rule out a dying valve seal...
im using a -3 feed and a -10 drain. im using a h1c which is a older brother of the hx35 i believe. also na-t here too! ftw!
as far as t3s yes the hx35 is typically a t3 flage
