This has been buggine me for sometime now, tried searching everywhere for this. I have a random connector just chillin out next to the hazard swith in the small little horizontal opening, which i believe should have some sort of switch or cover on it? It is a factory connector, and i have...
I would pull the plugs and crank it over, check for coolant fouled plugs and such. If i am understanding correctly, you got way too much psi inside the cooling system, which in most cases is caused by combustion gases from bhg. Atleast everytime i have ran into a "radiator explosion" that was...
I went and got bulk hose from the parts store, not molded so i got like 3 feet (cut to size i liked) to be on the safe and made a decent loop that doesnt kink, and not to mention is easier to remove if needed than trying to fight that stock one. I am satisfied and still funtions normal, not to...
I would imagine that after sitting for 3 years the gas went bad which i have seen cause fuel pumps to short out and what not, might be the reason why you blow the fuse, or you are hooking it to the wrong wire? And unless you did the "mod" the fuel pump does not recieve 12v, i think it is around...
I have the same issue with my stock clutch, shudders when taking off in first only, not too noticeable in reverse. What can be the cause on stock setup? First i found bad carrier (250 bones ), had a one piece built balanced installed, got better but still there. I checked and re bled the slave...
I had the same problem with a bad afm, was setting code thought. car would idle fine but not rev or take off. check codes check for broken vac lines also.
When you say heater on, do you mean actual heat blowing or just the fan blowing? could have an issue with coolant flow, possibly. Or maybe vac to the heater control vsv. vac leak with heater off?
I stated to "clean up" as in getting away from the afm housing, like just using a short ram type of intake tube or what have you, not literally clean it from dirt and grease?
Anyways i believe i am gonna stick with the afm for now i can make it work.
go to the tsrm and get the cps specs, make sure you have no broken wires, or connection problems. And yes the if i am correct the cps does control the spark.
I am actual;y looking fo rthe lex afm and have my stock unit i will trade. pm me for me details also include a pic of your afm if possible and we can work something out
Whats not plug and play the maft? or using a mass air flow sensor? I assumed that its not but was wondering if you could wire it in? Both the afm electronics and maf use iat internal (most maf sensors). Is there anyone out that has done this? The only thing i think i might have an issue with is...
So i am wondering if anyone has ever done a gm or any other brand mass air flow sensor on the 7m? I know that using a map is more of a guess, as compared to afm. so let me know if it is possible, if so how i would like to clean up my engine bay from the afm housing but still have an accurate...
Ok so what management system would you guys rec for my build, with the turbo kit, i/c, uprgraded fuel system and injectors, lex? I guess i am asking what do i need to use at minimum, maft pro, safc etc.....
Yeah sorry i am going too as well just forgot to mention it when i posted. So at my alt. do you think ill run in to fuel cut issues? or should i tune around that and see where its at?
ok say my soon to be setup is 60-1 dm kit, 550s, lex afm, safc, 255 pump, and bigger ic and pipes. I am at about 6000-7000 ft elevation and unsure of what boost i am gonna be running wont know til the install and tune are done, any ideas of what i might need to prevent fuel cut issues?
has anyone really noticed how bad that dyno sheet looks? the hp numbers are overlapping the label, on both sides? the top says 90 supra the middle of the sheet says 91? and the numbers dont match up either? def B.S
