Ok cool. I am probably gonna buy them for aaron. What about all the injectors they sell on ebay for 300-400 dollars? Does anyone have any experience with those? I am not gonna skimp out on the fuel system of my car just curious about the product.
grab up a wiring diagram for best results. depends on where your controller is located, engine bay or in car? get a voltmeter and check for keyed power wires. I think your best bet would be to literally run from the ignition key just make sure you have a fuse installed somewhere to be safe. Do...
ebay kit has two post resulting in same outcome, so you are better off investing in a good one and being done. The driftmotion kit i think is under 300 with everything, lines gauge, reg, j-tube bypass, and so on.
Ok, well thanks for the link, and if i am reading correctly the rx7 is the only vehicle out there has injectors that will drop in on the 7m fuel rail? and other than those injectors, if you can find them, you would have to order correct?
try searching on here for images of how it should look when properly installed, its kinda tricky especially being that you cant see the match marks on the gear. I had that issue to and if i recall the chilton does not give the correct install procedure, try this also...
very true. fuel pressure is, from what i am beginning to understand, is very critical on boosted cars, not enough and your lean, which will cause serious damage.
I know of all the injectors that you can buy online (suprasport, driftmotion etc....) i am wondering what cars you can get the injectors off of, say at a junkyard, that will have a min of 550cc, that will fit into the rail and manifold, such as the rx7 injectors. I am not concerned if they will...
I think anything that is name brand and not a knock off, given the brand has good rep, would work. I just wouldnt go for the 70-80 dollar ebay "kits". quality and reliability are not cheap.
Tried searching but cannot find anything.
Ok so i am curious as to what injectors (make, model of car, and injector size cc) will drop in on the 7m, fuel rail and mani. with the exception of new clips.
I know the rx7 turbo 2 is one. Along with all the sets sold from the vendors. I heard...
A buddy of mine bought one for like 100 bucks from ebay. worked good for a bit but then ruptured the diaphragm inside, and stared to leak from afpr halves.
The engine gunk should not be too close to any of the oil passages around hg area. try scraping away from cylinders, you know go from the center out in both directions if possible this will aid in the avoidance of debris in passages. I did my hg in my garage, with no issues or spun bearings to...
Do you have the correct firing order? use the tsrm and do the proper cps testing, such as your in and out signals, rather than just pulling it. If it ran just a few months ago seems hard to believe that things just fell out of time, or misalignment. When you first pulled your plugs how did they...
can you adjust it up at all? i believe the reg has spring and diaphragm. Maybe like mentioned bad regulator and it is just reading the max pump pressure?
paperclip between e1 and te1 on diag block, but since your cel bulb is inop it will do you know good. I did hook up a scanner to mine one time, using the toyota adapter but i cant remember if it gave me codes or not? I know that it does not show data but dont remember on the codes.
First off...
do you need to change return line size? make sure you have no debri or anything that may be cloggin or blocking your lines. Have not done the mod or upgrade myself, but can i blockage after the fpr towards the tank cause a problem?
