I would rec test driving the car prior to buying it. Ask the guy if he trusts his engine and either you or him get on the car and DRIVE it. If he says no then there might be a reason for that. I know with an MHG, and head studs, if you have them, and if done properly that engine will last.

I am trying to get rid of the rims for some 17x8. The backspacing is like an inch smaller than the 16s i have on there right now. They are 16x7.5 with 215/50 and 225/50 still a little small but they work for now.

That hose goes into the firewall for heater iirc. The hose if orig is old probably started rotting from the inside from age. the heat from turbo and exh just weakened it. When you replace it use a worm style hose clamp, seem to work much better than pinch type in my experience

IIRC the stock wastegate has a 7lb spring. correct me if i am wrong.
I dont know exactly how it works, but the tsrm shows the pps system in the diagrams. I know it uses vacuum on the pps switch to aid in easy of turning at lower rpms i believe. Not entirely sure though. check the tsrm for proper explanation
Ok cool the guy just told me it says ct-26 on his turbo i just wanted to make sure they didnt randomly change designs for certain cars, such as mounting to manifold or downpipe.
I am selling a ct26 turbo and someone asked me if if would fit on an 88 celica alltrac? I dont think it will bolt up directly but i am not familiar with that car. Is it possible to use it on there with modifications? if so please let me know so i can inform him. thanks guys
