Thanks mostly to Microsoft's success with Visual Studio and the fact that 'porting' a game between Windows and XBox is about as easy as it gets, XBox development is just easier for most game companies.
Being able to play said pirated games on a console requires modifying the console in some...
I miss my 95 Celica ST Liftback. It was totaled a couple weeks after I started dating my now ex wife. I wanted to rebuild it but had nowhere to do so.
I'd love to have both it and the Supra. Celica for looks and mileage (I averaged over 33 mpg on the 7AFE) and the Supra for power (when I...
I've had mine over 600 miles from home a few times. My longest trip was Orlando to Chattanooga, back to Orlando for a night, then down to Miami and back to Orlando.
The old 7M hasn't let me down yet. 226k on the factory rings/bearings and she's still ticking along at 12 psi. It's typically the...
Oil lines fixed for less than $30. $16 for 8' of hose, $12 for 2 quarts (don't we all miss the days of $2/qt oil???), and tax.
Also removed the catch can after it only catching a couple ounces in the 40+k it's been there.
Definitely going to be revisiting the oil cooler idea in the spring...
Wasn't sure if standard sized hose would work. Just saw how much Toyota wanted for the lines and figured why not spend a little more on a proper setup.
Since it's a several mile walk (no bicycle handy) to the parts place I'll just loop the lines today and run up there. I need a new thermostat...
One of my oil cooler hoses burst spraying almost a quart of oil all over the bottom of the PS pump and thereabouts.
1) Will it do any harm to loop the oil cooler line from the filter housing straight to the pan while I acquire parts? I figure on basically staying out of boost until the setup...
1988 Hyundai Excel GLS sedan
My dad bought it new in 88 and handed it down to me in 96. Carbed 1.5L w/5 spd manual. We never tested the mileage but it had to be over 30 mpg.
It died a slow and painful death. A rocker arm broke and left a valve to tap on the inside of the valve cover. $1000...
Mishimoto redesigned the radiator thanks to several members on here. I have a pre redesign Mishimoto and haven't had any issues in almost 2 years/over 20k running close to redline more than a few times (love to hear the Blitz NUR/Comp Cams valve springs combo ;) ).
Agreed. I shopped there once. Took several months and threat of a lawsuit to finally receive a set of plug wires and an intake.
Check out DriftMotion. Aaron has a good selection of JZ parts.
When I was in the research phase I was planning on getting a Raptor based on all the comments... Everyone is always happy with them.
I ended up getting a killer deal on a new Blitz NUR Spec that I couldn't pass up and I really couldn't be happier. I'm running the DM downpipe that was linked...
Will do. Dave (SCNAT) got in touch so I'm seriously looking forward to seeing his beast roll up I4 ( Dave's Supra winning IFO Gainesville last month http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIZx0cxqWPI&feature=youtu.be )
:'(
Sorry to hear you won't be making it. I found when I did my h2o pump
I will be posting pics to my flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/guysmiley222/
I'll hopefully be coming in with a mixed group but I'll stop and chat with any other MKIII owners I see.
Thought I'd finally close this one up. We all hate threads with no conclusions.
So after sniffing around the passenger side looking for something to be unplugged it turns out that FL was just too hot.
I spent a couple hours one day just under there poking around not finding anything left...
This upcoming weekend is Simply Clean 3 over at the Route 46 Entertainment District. It's free and just a hair north of Orlando.
http://iamsimplyclean.com/sc3/
I will be there along with a couple others. It's going to be a lot of 'stanced' stuff but should still be fun and it's the...
The metal bar HAS to come out. The large central plastic box HAS to come out. The smaller plastic box to the right of the large plastic box is for the AC. It's wedged in with the heater box but does not need to come out.
This was a life saver for my heater core job...
