It's typically around the Woodward area. MI2K is similar to TX2K where it's mainly about the higher HP cars. XceedSpeed has a general car meet in the spring that would be more of a get together/BBQ.
I'd love to see a MI Toy meet. I know there's one in the fall closer to Toronto but that's a...
I have a long silencer as well. The bottom picture looks like what I've got. Mine was a display at Titan so it probably came from Blitz 5+ years ago. And I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the middle picture has the silencer in backwards.
I don't currently know of anything going on at that point. It's a bit early in the season for MI but there may be a meet somewhere. If it's done snowing and the salt has been washed away by then I'll have the 87 with me downtown.
I did the same thing a few years ago when I needed a front bearing replaced. Took the knuckle off and brought it to someone to have the old bearing pressed out and the new one pressed in. They spent maybe 10 minutes on it.
+1. I was having random issues with my front right locking up under hard braking even after fresh pads and rotors. DM 6 piece hose kit and some fresh fluid cured it right up.
Here in Detroit we got 3 inches Sunday night and it's been warming up ever since. Going to hit mid to upper 50's today. Nonstop rain as well. We're under a flood watch for the next few days.
We are around. Most of us just don't check the location specific sub forums.
I'm closer to the failing city though. Although I have to say it's been picking up a bit.
Look for MI2K13 info in the coming months. I missed it last year but will be there this year. A couple of major MKIII guys...
Congratulations and good luck on your new venture. It's RWD, 2JZ, and Toyota so there should be 0 haters on this board.
Some nice things can be done to the early IS and I've often thought about a sport wagon version for myself.
Most of us have been there before with our Supras. I'm done with that phase and am content knowing that I wouldn't be happy with anything else.
I'm assuming you have a daily since it hasn't been running in a while. You have to decide what you want. In ND you won't be bringing a Supra out for...
From my reading it's not the best way to run it but it won't hurt anything if you're close to stock and your factory wiring is in decent shape.
I'm currently running my Walbro 255 on the stock wiring with the resistor bypassed. The only fuel line mod I have done is the pulsation dampener...
I can't speak for JJ and wouldn't try to but here's my own list of what I see wrong:
Assumed 45mph zone while construction barrels were still present
Admitted guilt/ignorance of speed limit
At the end he asked you if you had any questions twice, he likely was trying to give you an out by asking...
1998 (year I graduated HS) - Full tank of gas, carton of cigarettes, and a 20oz Coke = $20
2012 - Full tank of gas, carton of cigs, no Coke = $120+
an increase of 600%
1998 - $5.15 min wage = $206/wk @ 40 hrs
2012 - $7.25 min wage = $290/wk @ 40 hrs
an increase of about 29%, median wage was...
The only pic I have of the stance. Tow was for the 90* hose behind the water neck when I was over 10 miles from home.
As for the ride the B&G springs with Tokico Illumina IIs aren't that bad but it's not all I had hoped for and I will be switching to a decent set of coilovers eventually.
Agreed.
When I worked at a gas station chain it was in the hand book that you are not to carry a weapon of any kind and if you are robbed to just hand over what's in the register. Same thing when I worked for Papa Johns.
It's their store and their rules. I wouldn't expect to still have my...
Don't know a whole lot about the new stuff but I've always been partial to Roland and Marshall myself. I'm still rocking an old Valvestate 8080 that I just replaced the pots on last year. I've had it for almost 20 years now. Before replacing the pots I picked up a Roland Micro Cube and...
