    Oh, I also discovered that my smart behind mounted my nozzle for the meth injection lower than the resivour-so now the alky that I have in there drains into the ic system by itself. I have to move the nozzle up now-and plug the existing hole.......

    To modify the cover, I had to cut it short right at the breathers on the valve covers, and then relocate the threaded plug in the valley to the 3rd to last hole and drill a corresponding hole in the cover.     im definatly interested. You can count me in for sure as long as the completed piece is at least half as light as the orginal top and has all the provisions of the original top (rain gutters, weatherstripinng, etc.) so the parts can be transferred over. And of course great quality overall.

    Thanks, I think I am going to remove the cover and keep the coils showing and clean. I am using stock wires reversed for right now-will probably get some NGKS in the future, but the stock ones are working fine at the moment.

    Supra no go.

    Your simple solution is to swap the 89+ harness for the pre 89 engine harness and computer. The motor itself will not cause any problems, its the electronics. You will probably have to swap the injectors again-but I am pretty sure the old harness will get your running again.
