so yur saying even though the blade looks fine once it has coolant flowing past it it might just sit and spin as though it is stripped??? maybe i'll stick a wire in there to hold the blade while i turn the pulley or something ITR:: i haven't tried a coolant flush yet

well nothing is controlling the speed of the hydrofan now. my buddy is running his hydrofan the same way. we had the sensor in the 1J radiator but it was cracked i doubt the gauge is faulty as it read hot with the tstat in properly then backwards it stayed at op. temp
