To check if it is the dimmer jumper the white wire with black stripe to the white wire with green stripe on the dimmer plug. This will also get you by for a while if you don't have a replacement dimmer or can't get one right away.
One of the greatest examples of laws for the sake of laws... can't have the law makers out of jobs, now can we?
Personally, I'd just get a good filter for the stock filter box and not worry about getting a cone filter in there. The N/A doesn't move enough air that the stock air box and OEM...
Any air filter which fits within the STOCK, UNMODIFIED filter box is CARB legal. Aftermarket units which modify or replace the stock filter box must have applied for and been granted CARB compliance certification.
Actually, the whole filter thing is F'ing ridiculous and only something I'd ever...
$99!?! WTF? Wow, some racket they've got going there... Get a kit for a Civic off ebay for $50 or so..
Besides, if the pipe they're showing is intended for a 7M-GE they left out the part about having to hack out a 1' section from the middle of the pipe to accommodate the AFM... but the OP does...
The only way you're going to get a different type of air flow meter is to either convert to turbo electronics (add a fuel controller to tune it and say g'bye to the ACIS), dump the stock ECU and go standalone OR install a MAFT Pro. $$$$$
It's a -4AN.. it's the right size and flows just fine.
I would say I'm surprised about the other fitment issues but I'm not... This kind of thing just happens a lot with aftermarket equipment for these cars; so much of it is hand made and small batch jobs. Have you called them?
Do...
To clarify here, the only difference is the mounting tabs... a TPS with vertical mounting tabs will not work on a TB with horizontal mounting tabs and vice versa... as long as the TPS and TB mate up properly it's fine and the ECU will have no problem.
I think the use of the word "pins" threw...
The heater core has coolant flowing through it pretty much all the time as it is. You shouldn't really see any difference. The only time the heater core is bypassed is when the A/C is at full.
So you missed the whole thing with me highlighting your statement about the over heating while you're stopped and then bringing up the cowl? I mentioned it for a reason. (HINT)
Check for vacuum leaks, check the timing, check for oil around the spark plugs and wires check for error codes stored in the ECU and... what octane gas are you running?
Sorry, I just re-read your post and saw that you did say you replaced it already... My experience with the blower and the rest of the heating and A/C system is quite limited, I'm going to bow out and let the more knowledgeable guys speak up.
EDIT: You should ask an admin to move this to the...
The location on the pan is piss poor for a gravity fed oil return. From what I've seen most who've tried it have ended up blowing seals... costly. One hard turn while boosting and you've covered essentially plugged the drain.
