sorry not posted anything intresting recently been tied up with work and waiting for parts to turn up still.
but little mod today decided to make a new j-tube block of plate just to get another small iritating job out the way decided to go stainless hex bolts to match cam covers and tidy things...
siman i bought one from custom chrome and the quality although not outstanding was simply astonishing for the money although i have cut mine up to just use the flanges and make my own inners
but for the money they are spot on so if no one has seen one and are saying they are shite to jump on...
check the back of the cam pullies about 5 yr ago mine was set on 10 degrees perfect then i would go no problems hit boost and same problem as you took me ages to find out what it was
turns out the pulley had worn away on the bolt holes and when boosting was retarding the timing as it moved...
well as far as transmission goes sticking with r154 going to put rps twin plate carbon clutch and flywheel in will shot peen selector forks cause that is the only real weak part as far as i know
diff wise uk ones were better spec so already have oil cooler fitted as standard on the top so...
havent posted for a bit caus waiting for bits to be made but have been busy wiring for those of you that remember how much wiring goes behind the das and fenders check out my new slimmed down loom this is as custom as it gets just waiting on my new fuse box now

i know ron r has done it but one subject im a bit thick on is ignition systems we all have our weak points
so how do i convert it to coil over plug
do i need a new hks amplifier thing or what ever its called not sure myself will be running motec m48...
decided not to seam weld shell cause we are going to be there for ever so the roll cage should do enough to stegthen up the shell hopefully.
my flexy pipes to help fab the runners still havent turned up what a surprise but my ally 4 inch elbows for the induction system should be here tommorrow...
siman you pretty right there but mine wont have any restictions hence the power we is going for the engine came through a tuning company that only does toyota i am friends with the owner he has friends in motorsport and ther just happened to be enough spares to build a last one so as to speak...
siman its a knightmare but nearly ther now t4 flange welded in location to the body start on the runner tuesday when flexy tube is here in 1.5 inch gonna make em fit in that then mandrel bend them
