Great looking engine !! Could you tell me about your Fan Shroud ? Looks real good.
Curious about what type of battery that is also.
As far as the EGR, I am with the leave it be crowd ^^
Does the emergency brake engage properly ? Was the clearance adjusted on the emergency brake shoes as per TSRM specs ? Along with dust shield I would also look there.
It looks like you did very well !
As far as the rust we see, it isnt that bad considering it is all surface from what I can see. Would need pics of rear wheel wells and spare tire hole to proclaim it as a donor car.
The correct answer is without doubt...............................>
They are the perfect size
w/o a doubt they look great, actually I do think they look perfect.
JJ you never cease to amaze me in here:
Do me a favor and chime in on my sawblade post in General.
I believe there is also a very good post on how to disarmthe alarm system permanently also if you so choose.
I was fortunate to have a donor car handy with good lock sensors. I switched...
Thanks for the replies thus far.
I did find a nice link for those considering tire changes which I will post below. I am rather certain the 245's will fit, I am simply wondering if I will in fact gain a larger footprint also. Keep in mind there are not many 245/45/16's to choose from, so the...
Hi all,
Need a little help with some new tires on my Supra. I am running hand polished sawblades which I have invested over 40 hours of finger print removing hours on. Since they turned out so well I plan on keeping them at least thrrough the next set of new tires.
My question is...
A thumps up to the older materials theory. Tho you may have also had a visitor known as field mice or chipmunks^^^
Long story short, the donor car I purchased for my 5 speed swap had been sitting for about a month. When I removed the (Heater, blower, cores) there was a nice bedding area...

Obviously I am not close enough to partake. I will tell you that in this area I am not that well received by the muscle car community. I don't think it is a matter of dislike, more a matter of not being that familiar with Supras period. Remember that there aren't really that many of...
JTran, you really need to do a search on this topic. Your problem is not unusual and has been well discussed by JetJock and many others. here is one to get you started ^^

Broken and snapped bolts nothing to laugh about. Never the end of the world either. I feel your pain as most that do their own wrenching will. It does make one wonder if we can ever be as thorough as we need to be. Good luck with your fix ^^
Last time I tried I had to get a tetanus shot. I am sorry I just couldn't resist.:biglaugh:

If the reason is that your going to run an AEM or other stand alone management system you can do as I did.
I changed the Auto ECU for a Manual ECU. No body or engine harness necessary. It is plug and play ^^
Niffty kit with that cable adjustment. The price IMO is a bit much though. For the extra $119.00 over the $20 I spent. I think I am happy with my Dr Jonez I currently have. Once you set it how often are you going to be changing it anyway ?
