Thanks for posting and sharing the pics !! Perhaps next year we could try for an East Coast meet.
Would enjoy meeting more of our members and did attend the Richmond meet this year.
I happen to have a nice CF 2 gauge. Bought it last year, decided to go with a single column mount as my mods require nothing more than a decent boost gauge.
The fit is very nice. I wasn't planning on selling it, but as I am not using it I would be glad to take some pics if your interested...
So the SOGI mod kills the TRD shifter knob ? Well maybe I have to live with a shifter about 2 inches too tall ^^ I will try and pick up a spare and try that mod...
Thanks for the input men, anyone else care to chime in also ?
Adam, so you got rid of your C's. From what I have been able to gather it is one of the best out there.
Since the height is really my only complaint with stock, perhaps I should just do the SOGI mod ?
HI All
Would like some input concerning a short shifter. Is anyone running the Beech Performance model ? How does it measure up to a C's short shifter ?
Any and all input is appreciated.
IMO, you would get more than $299 parting it out and then selling it for scrap. So the you keep it option is the better of the two you were given.
I would also suggest that you may in fact be able to repair it for the amount given if most of the work was done by yourself. Either way, I would...
Pete, your work looks spot on great !! I will follow this thread to see if or when Blue leather is introduced as an option.
Will it ever happen or am I cloud hoping again ?
92, having done the swap myself going from an Automatic to a 5 speed let me chime in with my 2cents.
1) I would not pay anyone to work on any of my cars. Take the time to read learn and do on your own. If not, owning and maintaining a Supra will most likely drive you to selling it.
2) What...
Trevor, no pics as yet but a suggestion. Take both ECU's and place them side by side. Do the mounts look the same ? mounting tab holes line up ?
The mounting tabs are attached to the ECU with screws, they could be swapped if necessary.
The ECU itself is mounted horizontally and above...
I recently did a complete tear down of my donor Supra. I believe you would have to remove dash ans even the dash support to R&R the heater core. Keep in mind I was stripping a car, so I didn't bother to read my shop manual.
I do hope there is an easier way. But from what I saw that was...
BK, as Ian said check the hoses and check valve to brake booster. You could easily have overlooked it during your install. It may be as simple as re connecting the hose itself also.
My Suggestion
If it works like it does here in the States. I would go to the Police. They can check on ownership, liens etc. If the car is deemed abandoned it would then be auctioned off.
I did not notice in earlier posts if you had checked with the owner of the club it is parked by...
