So Paradox-
Given your experience with this turbo and its performance, and you had the chance to do it all over again-
Would you still stick with this T61, or go with a modified Ct26 (57 or 60 trim)?
Hearing it makes you faster.
You could get this in the meantime- it's cheaper, won't make you stall, and definitely vented to atmosphere:

You mean like this?

LMAO!
Damn- sometimes, you gots some good ones.
I just had my windshield replaced on Friday, and I had them use the new-style trim as well.

From Evil Dead 2.
I'll be the guy wearing the Army of Darkness T-shirt tomorrow.
Ash is THE man. When Chuck Norris goes trick-or-treating, he dresses up as Ash.
I used two knock sensors out of a 98+ 4runner or something. I just spliced in the new connectors.
PS- Atlantamk3- Are you going to the Commerce meet tomorrow?
LMAO!

Understood, thanks.
It was really more a question as to whether I could steal the AFM electronics from a 1UZ to repair a 7MGTE with a bad AFM.
Thanks guys.
Congrats.
I guess you were hitting fuel cut. To me, it feels like it run over a cinderblock and the car stops moving forward for a second.
The most you'll have to remove to get to the KS's is possibly some of the vacuum lines under the intake manifold. You're not trying to
remove the sensors...
