knock sensors

i have a 1987 7mgte can i use knock sensors from a n/a? or what other engine can i use from(need 2)

i got one from a jdm 3sge and 1 jdm 89+ 7mgte and 1 jdm 7mge both have the same conectors...will they work????

all 7ms have the same sensors dont know bout the 3sgte but u know how toyota is if it works put it in everyting

Yes but the newer models have different connectors.

That's correct. I'm currently swapping in a pre-89 into my 89+ and had to change the knock sensors to match the connectors on the 89+ harness. There are other connectors that are different too.

I used two knock sensors out of a 98+ 4runner or something. I just spliced in the new connectors.

no..would like to go but have to get the supra running right before i take the long 4hr drive
