Bored to 84mm now have a hole in cylinder!!!!

99% of the time you clock up the borning bar from the top 3mm of the stock bore as the rings never run that high so there is no wear. Just sounds like bad luck and a dud casting to me. (rereading his post it sounds more like a casting defect as there was a pinhole to begin with)

    FFIM or REG mani??

28" should fit between the rails no probs. You could buy an IC pipe kit and piece it together then have it welded it all depends on your skill level. FFIM contact Ron there's nothing comparable for the price he charges!

Bored to 84mm now have a hole in cylinder!!!!

84mm is usually considered a safe OS in a 7M block and it sounds like either as Mike has said a air bubble or maybe core shift... either way it's NOT the shops fault. Forget sleeving it.

    Re-nitriding the crank, grinding

The stock hardening is only 10>15 thou deep but I guess this varies crank to crank so first US is safe anything else and it's either get it retreated or find a good crank as Al has noted.

    fuel lines/ system

If you follow the return line down to the block there is a bracket bolted to the side that has a bent pipe, this is the J Tube and has a small orrifice as a limp home thing with the stock pump in case of fuel system failure. When you install a bigger pump there isn't enough flow in the...

how high is too high octane

It's just a number it isn't an actual "thing" LPG I use is rated at 104 octane but has NOTHING in common with 104 octane Petrol. They use a little one cylinder motor and run a fuel in it increasing it's compression until it knocks and this is that fuels "Octane"
