LOL my take on T Stats are they're a very simple device that performs an important job and either work or don't work!
I can't see any reason to "Hi Flo" one rendering it useless, may as well buy a Moroso Racing restrictor kit and piss the T Stat off altogether and let the motor suffer :(
Dragon: On my car it's one piece.
It's VERY important to have good bump stops on our cars as there is nothing on the suspension that will bottom before the shock :(
I destroyed a Koni when a stock Bump rubber split.
What were the end gaps set to?
What sort of Ring Compressor was used to install the pistons?
Oil in the Intake is usually either massive blowby or a dying turbo
(or a PCV "mod" done by someone that doesn't understand the system that ends up pressurising the pan/crankcase)
I thought...
Mike: He wants the lowest cost option and with a Mk3 for me this rings alarm bells as we all know how our cars reward cut corners! (the stress will follow)
Grey imports have been happening here a long time so it probably came in ages ago as a private import before the rules were put in place to "protect" the local industry!
(as if someone buying an $8000 Supra was going to buy a $30.000 Commodore anyway....... )
