    Might have been a pair made with the wrong friction material thickness bonded on... Try swapping one pad from the other side.

    JaV: You can use plain hose but look at it this way by the Toyota molded hose put it on and it's fine for another 15+ years so you can forget about it! (around $2.30 a year)
