If no one jumps in before then I'll measure my 58 when I go out to the shed.
Main area of "PITAness" on the 56 swap is the extension housing back between the seats!
(from memory it's 20mm wider than the tunnel)

I recently had a BHG and believe using Permatex Brake quiet was a contributor.
This only became a problem over 30 psi/8000 rpm and I'm guessing there aren't too many 7M's going there.
It "should" be fine!
Tell the operator about it and that if it slips at all to back out of the throttle so he doesn't glaze it!
Just remember it's YOUR car so if he's doing anything you don't think/feel is right tell him to stop!

DROP THE WASHERS IN BEFORE THE STUDS! OKAY! :)
