    I break a fresh motor in on Valvoline single 30 weight then switch to Castrol Edge Synthetic, Last motor was in much better condition after I tore it down compared to the Anglomoil Synthetic I ran in a previous build.

    Smaller diameter valves take longer by hand as the surface speed is lower Micky... (take it to a shop) ;)

    If you have a good tune and enough fuel and keep it out of detonation you're pretty damn safe on the Ross pistons! I ran 25 daily with an occasional spike to 32psi without any sign of distress on the pistons! (They're FAT and tough!)

    Micky: Take the head to the shop and have them syncroseated with a machine! If they're any good they'll set all the stem heights at the same time saving a TON of mucking around with shims....
