    Do we need pics to explain getting a helper to cycle the heater switch with the motor running? (If the check valve is backwards this test will show that up as well)

    You just need to try a few basic tests before throwing parts at it ;) That way you can narrow it down and it may end up being something really simple.

    Ok the actuator is leaking internally. Next thing to check is run the motor put your finger on the end of the vacc hose and have someone switch the heater on and off you should feel it suck/not suck.

    Remove the vacc line and plug it.

    Ok what happens if you pull the Vacc line on the actuator and plug it? (just went back through the entire thread sorry I thought you had the more common no heat bug)

    Yep I use those anyplace they don't need to be torqued down hard as they use a smaller key that's prone to stripping if you do em up too tight.

    Expand what? If the Amp is blown you won't get hot air full stop amen ;) You can wire the Heater Valve open or remove it totally and there will still be no hot air nada zip zero zilch not a skerrick nyt nothing sans heat cold even.

    There is an amplifier in the Heater control that can die and no matter what you do with the VSV or controls it'll blow cold.

    A340 Cooler circuit?

    I bought 10 metres of hose so just made it ;) I figure the rest of the system will bleed up fairly quickly and the cooler circuit might take a few days but my driveway is steep so if needs be I'll leave it idle there.
