    I was being "nice" ;) If the stock Alt isn't keeping up think of the drag then going to a larger capacity Alt = even more parasitic loss so in the end just how much of that "free power" is left to move the car?

    LSD and a lower Cruise RPM are good things Chris but it'll hurt the acceleration in 1st a bit. It's all a trade off.

    Chris: 5800= 127 Fuzz: Not dissing the NA it's just physics you need a shitload of power after 100 mph to overcome drag.

    Depends on ratio 3.9:1 = 140 @ 6000 3.73:1 = 147 @ 6000 I can't see an NA doing it though just not enough power to push that much air without having a 5>10 mile run up. When discussing top speeds I'm talking about GPS verified not going by the stock speedo.

    ^ Not a chance in hell...... 5500=117mph If you can get it to 6000 that's 127 this is all assuming stock W58, 4.3 diff and 225/50/16 tires.

    Ahhh I see what you mean now :) Figgie has the larger one on his car but as I knew 500ish was my upper limit I just grabbed the Stock size one to compliment my Light Crank and the JE's in the new build.
