    I tried tight settings last year and lost a motor when it nipped up after leaning out a touch :( From memory I shot for 20/22 this build and there's no real blow by. Greg posted it upside down as well ;)

    I think I'd lift the carpet out and hose it off for awhile then pull the spare out there's a rubber plug under it remove that and mix up a few gallons of water and baking soda and wash the inside of the hatch a LOT.

    Doesn't really serve a purpose Nix ;) To me car mods need to make the car better in some way this doesn't it just adds another step to the start up procedure as you already have to turn the key to on.

    Hmmmm not wanting to start shit or anything but conventional wisdom is to set the second compression ring looser than the first so gas can escape past it and not flutter the 1st ring. (Pretty sure this was a brainfart by Greg)

    Aaron: LOL it was a case of find that or throw the head away :( Looking at it I suspected an easyout would crack the head if I tried one so went and visited a local tool place that had someone older than me to ask advice :D
