I just slid the paperclip wire under the coil boot so it was touching the terminal and sticking out from the boot a few mm then clipped the inductive pickup over the top of it. Next drama was the MSD multiple sparks at low rpm made it a bit of a guess where the timing actually was.....

Moroso make a leakdown tester but you'll need a compressor to do the test. That's why I suggested the Comp test first and see what it reveals.

Ed: They would help a good deal but are just about impossible to do as the floorpan is so low already, might be able to do them inside under the seats but it's a big job.

I'm at a loss to even make a guess sorry. Do a comp test and see if that reveals anything then maybe a leakdown test.

2 x e-fans will sit further forward so will have more effect on handling/weight than 1 mech fan bolted to the pump ;) (I'm really NOT a big e-fan fan)

Even with the gaps in line I wouldn't expect to see that amount of Oil up top :(

Nothing comes close to moving the amount of air that the 10 blade will Trev. You're not chasing the last 3hp you need reliability and a safety margin.
