    2jz install in my 89mk3

Tlo: Jz 340's have electronic line pressure control so no cable. Bamf has a disability but would like a manual car and talked about building a clutchless manual (huge expensive job) I offered up the SSv4 as a low cost alternative. My SSv4 has been brilliant :)

S2 Now makes Carbon doors :)

Sorry I've never built a car to impress anyone other than me..... Car parts as a fashion statement is a joke. I'm not going to flame anyone I have no idea what makes you think I would in this case my question was serious. For me it's always been "Form Follows Function"

will the horsepower potential over do the massive weight

Grim: As I've stated before the Mk3 is the wrong choice if you're chasing a light weight car as even stripped it's basic structure is heavy and you can't do anything about that without sacrificing structural integrity. I  the A70 platform but it's never going to be anymore than a Hippo...

I thought he was swapping the Jz into an Auto Mk3? Keep the 7M trans and converter swap in a Jz bellhousing and he's good to go ;) (much less drama and expense than building his clutchless manual he wants and still has full manual control over the trans)

Recirculating/plumb back valve: which is bestest?

FL88: I don't have a whole lot of experience on the BoV question as they were only starting to be used the last time I was into Turbo motors before my accident enforced break away from cars. During the time I've been back I've yet to see any actual evidence of a Turbo failure caused by no BoV...

brake rotors on the wrong way?

Colin: The angled slots mean the Pad is always supported across it's width so there can be no cutting action by the slot this might be different with radial slots, again I doubt it would ever be seen as a "good feature" having a Rotor cut a pad. If there are any surface contaminants the Slots...

    strange cutting out issue

Idle Control Solenoid or Idle Speed Control in Toyota speak. On our cars it's a stepper motor and prone to gunking up.

foglight air duct. who has one?

The can has spun ends with a piece of 4" tube welded in that the K&N Clamps onto inside. As delivered it had a restrictive bellmouth spun on the inside end of the inlet piece of 4", I trimmed this off and it made a huge increase in flow/power. The Can has 3 toggle releases so you can...
