Who here is running an MR2 alternator in their car?

simple, the fans didn't kick on on the dyno, and they usually don't use any serious fans that flow even close to what the stock fan on our car will flow at idle...

    Anybody want a Turbo A?

sorry, but I was unemployeed for a good 15 months (right after 9/11 was horrible here as AA's home is here and they layed off thousands of people) I needed health care, and there is very good state funded health care, but our idiot govenor cut the budget of it down to next to nothing. What...

    Heat Heat

I agree, it's usually called a splash sheild on other cars as it stops water from getting int he bay as easily (and letting belts slip) If it was a more durable piece (like a heavy aluminum piece that was on my truck), I wouldn't have any issues running it at all... I just can't see spending...

Can Royal Purple with LSD additive in R154 cause harder shifts?

OK, as I now have some first hand experience in this I'll comment: When I first got the car it had a slight second gear grind. Tranny shop changed the clutch and tranny fluid. Same grind. Switched to Royal Purple Max-Gear. Shifting was smoother...until I tried to shift fast and then it...

    Anybody want a Turbo A?

think of it as a good medium upgraded 7M MKIII better intercooler, speed density, larger turbo, better oil cooling (Turbo-A duct), suspension is stiffer, bit better brakes (slotted from what I understand), better interior... and it's one of 500, rarity alone makes it worth money in my eyes..

what is with Florida supras mainly being pearl white?

funny, my first supra meet, I was the only red supra :evil2: now they're EVERYWHERE (there's an 89+ N/A right around the corner from me that's driven by an old couple, keep trying to catch em in a parking lot and asking if they'd like to sell)

HID Bi-Xenon, 5000k vs Hella Halogen, Pics!

it's gotta be that little box... I have an idea, since the passenger side plug is unused, is there any way you could simulate a lightbulb without drawing tons of current? I'm thinking it wants a completed circuit and that would work...

    I need a new headunit!

I love my old pioneer unit, nothing out there now looks right IMHO, it's too flashy and doesn't look clean enough for our interiors... someone please prove me wrong, I cna't find a headunit that looks even remotely like it belongs in our cars, and stereo theft in my area sucks...

HID Bi-Xenon, 5000k vs Hella Halogen, Pics!

it's the little control box that's the issue, though I like it... I can probably rewire the high beam indicator pretty easily...

    Heat Heat

yes, in the area it sits now, it's actually very linier I can see fluctuations if I get in hot situations, but it never even gets to half now (which is where it "stops" and then once you really overheat will jump)

HID Bi-Xenon, 5000k vs Hella Halogen, Pics!

same here, highbeam indicator doesn't work, but I never noticed it... it seems to be an amp draw that triggers it, but I'm unsure. I don't miss it as the light is pretty damn bright and kinda negates any effect of your highbeam by blinding you...
