true, but it seems to be only one thrust washer that gets taken out, and it's related to first gear... get straight cut first and second gears and you'd be fine on the highway and around town... now if only someone made them...

depends a lot on design of the turbine and compressor wheel as well... new turbo tech will spool a hell of a lot faster than the old antiquated stuff...

depends on the design of the springs, I never recommend cutting progressives...

PPS makes more pressure around parking lots (nice light feel), and less assist at highways speeds (very nice feedback and you have to want to steer the car for it to move) I want to try the switch trick and see what it's like with max assist all the time, might help on a roadcourse...

+1 to driftmotion and aaron... got the in car kit of the stock size... installed, still stripped (not his fault very old head and seen quite a few overheats) had the larger kit overnighted (not from japan you F&F freaks)... cut the drill bit and used a drill doctor on it to resharpen...

someone that agrees with me... seen header wrap do bad things to whatever it was wrapped around. ceramic coating the header and then wrapping it does a hell of a lot, and it won't have the same issues as just wrap...

is that the Mallett Solstice? that thing is beyond insain... no use for first or second... yes, R154 in a 4WD truck is quite possible, it's changing the rear hosuing of the tranny with the 4WD one and bolting it up mostly... after that you can but pretty much anything you want mated to...

R154 would hold up fine if it had straight cut gears IMHO... it would completely negate the forces on the thrust washers which are usually the part to go...

get an HID kit, you'll love em... (I do)

TEMS will be a range, so it's hard to say... I enjoy my KYB's, but I'm on stock springs...

you're gonna love your whitelines, at least you can use the stiffest setting on the rear and not worry with those A1 bars. (gotta get me some now)

redline MT-90 is usually recommended IJ: so maybe just a part made like the stock part out of a billet piece would be stronger?
