yep, they have to be pressed per the TSRM...

I have a DPP, I put the stock heat sheild back on (slightly modified) and it helps a lot...
I've heard of ceramic couting AND wrapping, but I'm against wrapping in most cases as it will trap the heat to the point where it can crack things...
sounds like maybe a bad headlight relay
if it's not the headlight relay, check the integration control relay (I feel like a broken record on this issue)

can't seem to get these things aimed perfectly either, wouldn't believe how much of a hassle it is to find a flat spot of ground with a nice wall...
it's not easy to change... toyota in their infinate wisdom puts it in from the top, so pulling or lifting the engine would be the easiest way...
