ahhhh damn, both of mine look like the front cover is actually coated where the waterpump is. current engine was one that had only water run through it (it ate the head, had to rebuild my old head). Pulled the waterpump at it looks pretty bad, but the waterpump housing was dark grey like...

wasn't quite sure, but knowing that just tells me it's to keep the car in the proper powerband easier...

I'm with jdub, I even commented in that thread... I've learned through experience, redline is far and above a better product than royal purple, and worth the extra cost and hassle to get (summit racing has MT90!!)

aaaactually, the diffusers are tinted darker inside, the actual outside piece is the same color the center section of the USDM one doesn't fade faster, they where always off color. the JDM center section has a more gunmetal color paint than the USDM silver on the back. removing the paint...

CRE: I don't see it being hard...but I wouldn't want to drag race with it...

I'd take a miata over an S2K anyday cheaper, and the market is mature to build it up to whatever you want kinda like a MKIII :rofl:
