The prices I quoted are for a full kit... minus the housings, of course, but the ebay link I saw there didn't have that either. The possible problem with the hi/lo setup is space - I'm not certain there is enough room in the back of our headlamp assembly for the actuator that moves the bulb...

Starter woes again! :) This is really easy. For future reference, it's fastest with two people and a large selection of ratchet extensions. 1. Leave the car in gear and set the E-brake. 2. Jack up the drivers side of the car, put it on a jack stand. 3. Mechanic #1 slides under the car...

BTW, just for reference... I use ARP head bolts on a standard Toyota composite gasket. They are torqued with moly lube to 100 ft/lbs. Until last week I was running 17psi on a stock CT-26, without any problems. The engine has been together for over a year. Last week I upgraded to a 58...

Siman's got a REALLY good idea. If that failed to resolve anything, as in, it happened again over something equally stupid, it gets very simple. Small claims court (or whatever it's called down there) for a new fender. Tell him that he's welcome to counter sue for the cost of his putty knife.

Actually, Tony, the wheels on a bicycle do give you a fair bit of the gyroscopic stability you get on a motorcycle. And steering dampeners are also available for them - otherwise the racers doing 80km/hr over rocks the size of your head would have serious issues. :) That said... I agree that...

I've got news for you. The Mk4 Supra will nickel and dime you to death as well. So it's only 10 years old instead of 15... it's still more than old enough that all the little stuff is starting to go.

Ok, finally got some time in the dry. I'm more than impressed. It's damn nice. It doesn't stop pushing until someplace past redline, I've bounced off the rev limiter several times without realizing it was coming up. Suddenly I can understand why people need shift lights! ;)

Still no luck on performance... roads are just starting to dry up now, but the forecast isn't good, and I'm still at work. At this rate, you'll know yourself before I do. :(
