    Serenity

This is neat. Want to know what character you would be in FireFly? http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=79387 PS: I don't vouch for this thing's accuracy, it tells me I am 100% the Operative. :(

    Fuel cut sucks.

I'm not intimately familiar with the capabilities of the SAFC, but I know the theory, anyhow. You use something to either defeat the FC or scale it to a higher spot, and then you use the SAFC to add fuel back in until you are running at the AFR you want.

    NC's tougher inspections

Sounds like a great place to live! ... err... wait a minute... didn't you guys just get pounded up the ass twice in a row with hurricanes? Or was that some other Misssissippi? ;)

    Fuel cut sucks.

You need a fuel computer... SAFC, Emanage, something like that. Sounds like your fuel cut is in about the right place, though, 16 psi on the SP61 is a shitload more than 16psi on a stock CT.

How to retrieve hood bolts from inside body panels?

I haven't gotten it yet. Can't see it, so the remote pickup / magnet ideas don't work. If the mudflap thing works, I'll be happy as a clam, thanks for the ideas, everyone. Spent most of the day today tearing all the fragile plastic wire loom off the engine wiring harness and replacing it...

    just throwin this out there

Ball in the air - damn fine analogy. Thanks for the idea! OK... here we go. Gravity accelerates EVERYTHING on the planet that isn't on the ground at a specific rate, 9.8m/s^2 - and it does this all the time. So... throw a ball straight up. When it hits the top of it's path, it's...

Congratulations! We like success stories like this. :D

    blower quit on me

Try different speeds. The resistors usually fry the lower speeds first, so the max speeds might still work. If this is the case, the resistor pack is definitely fried. If none of them work, the resistors still might be fried, but you would have to pull them out to check.

americanjebus, what answer did you turn in? And let us know whether you get it right or wrong. :) I'm betting I'm right. Let's hit this from a different angle. Do you think that you can have acceleration when you are already at 100mph? SO for instance, if you accelerate from 0 to 200...

    Fuel cut sucks.

Do you have a real boost gauge? What PSI are you hitting fuel cut at? Are you running the bolt in SP61, or a new manifold as well?

The supra has ended my future and my life

For someone whose life is over, you still seem to be posting a fair bit. :D Keep yer chin up, it'll get better eventually.

    Serenity

Well, I liked this movie a LOT. Turns out I wasnt alone, either and this review pretty much pegs it. I guess just about everything I wanted to say, Orson Scott Card can say better. J http://www.hatrack.com/osc/reviews/everything/2005-09-30-extra.shtml I highly suggest everyone see this...

Now the question looms... did you give him the URL to here??? :)

Getting rid of the rear wiper?

Nice place to snatch it from - took me a minute to figure out that came from the engine bay! :D

    NC's tougher inspections

Put a different code on your engine. How many inspection geeks will know the difference between a 7M-GE and a 2JZ-GTE? :D

Errr... I think I am doing a bad job of explaining something. I'll use the car example, because it's familiar, despite the fact that it's a bad example. Just forget about traction, gears, brakes, etc. Forget about what your body can handle as well, we could just as easily be talking about...

Dead, that's not the question. The question is, can you be accelerating while at a stop? Acceleration is a change in velocity. So if I go from 100mph to -100mph (going the opposite way) then for one instant, right in the middle, I am at a dead stop, even though my acceleration has remained...

    New coolant alternative

Water wetter / purple ice are fantastic products for cooling. However, make absolutely DAMN sure that your cooling system hasn't got any chance of leaking, because both of these will turn a small leak into a big leak, and might make leaks where there were none before.
