on my old set of ic pipes i just taped off a section about a little less than a 1/4 of an inch at the ends of the pipe and used put on some jb weld. pulled off the tape and let it dry. just make sure you lightly sand it to removed any imperfections before you apply the jb weld. it worked...

according to maftpro my tps is at 0.30 with throttle closed.. i know thats too low... but can i just turn the tps to the desired setting by reading the maftpro voltage?

could have anything to do with the screw on the tb? a year or so back i had a wierd problem with what i thought was my tps and i gave up and brought my car to a toyota "specialist"... ill never do it again. he turned that screw to make the idle right and it turned out after i got the car back...

after installing my maftpro ive noticed that my vaccuum at idle is only around -9.8 the car actually runs very well, but something is not right with the vaccuum.
ive check over and over again for vaccuum leaks and changed all the original fittings, hoses and tees but its still the same...
could possibly be a stuck valve or maybe it separated from the retainer. i had that lovely experience when i got my brothers nissan altima. dont ask how that would happen.
you posted 9 times in 3.5 hours on your own thread without following anyones suggestions. luckily for you, you found the problem.
you'll most likely need to rewire the connector that goes to the cps. usually its the connector on the cps side... but check the wiring harness connector as well.
