It's primer grey. Could be a replacement, I'm not the original owner, but the paint on the hood (top) looks original - read, looks a LOT older than the paint on the rest of the car.

First up, I'd unplug the AFM and see if it'll start then. Car should start without the AFM plugged in, although it won't rev worth a damn. Next I'd run the diagnostic procedure on your cps, isc, and tps. These are really general steps, if anyone else has more targetted advice, take theirs first!

Doesn't work on our cars, motor mounts on FWD vehicles are very different. Imagine a stick poking through a donut - you can impregnate the donut with a stiffer material and it'll work on the FWD car. Ours are a pair of bolts, glued to opposing sides of a rubber dampener... essentially.
