I'd bet on a crack in the IC pipes somewhere, more than likely off the bottom of the turbo. I had the same thing, and my mileage was terrible until I found it. Still boosted no problem, though.

It is just held on there with a VBand clamp, so you could in theory plumb it into your exhaust any way you want, even directly in the flow, and pull the regular exhaust out in a different way. Also, 2x2.25" pipes are more cross section (barely) than a single 3". I'm a big fan of the system...

Worse, it only functions when the AC is on full cold, which is rare in my vehicle. The rest of the time it's open.

Agreed Mike - I'd just rather that people make this decision based on the idea they want to support the original developer rather than the impression that the copies are vastly inferior products.
