I'd bet on a crack in the IC pipes somewhere, more than likely off the bottom of the turbo. I had the same thing, and my mileage was terrible until I found it. Still boosted no problem, though.
It is just held on there with a VBand clamp, so you could in theory plumb it into your exhaust any way you want, even directly in the flow, and pull the regular exhaust out in a different way.
Also, 2x2.25" pipes are more cross section (barely) than a single 3". I'm a big fan of the system...
Agreed Mike - I'd just rather that people make this decision based on the idea they want to support the original developer rather than the impression that the copies are vastly inferior products.
LOL - we've had a car seat in the Supra for a couple trips, but most of the time when we are going anywhere with the kidlet we use the 'other' car - my wife drives a Ford Explorer.

Vinyl being crap quality is another urban myth that needs to be quashed.
15-20 years ago, vinyl was nowhere near the quality level of good leather. Since then, vinyl manufacturing has improved drastically, while cows are still cows.
Quality vinyl made today costs more than leather, feels...
