sorry to distract the thread, but is the quality of a weld using an oxy-acetylene torch far below an arc welder? there's a small setup here and i was wondering if itd be wise to even get near any of my projects with it.

anyone have any ideas how to start carpeting this monster? ive set the sides in 1/4" on the sides and back, but i dunno how to put my carpet down on the top and bottom, plus the rest of the sides without it looking like crap. can anyone give me some advice?

jbweld is a bitch to get off if it sets up correctly. we used it airsmithing to get stripped allen screws out. just jbwelded an allen wrench in the screw and broke the screw loose in the mornin, then just cut the wrench off above the screw. but yeah, jbweld works great if it cures right...
