were you guys ever scared to go WOT on your supra?

Same as some of the others here. Not really scared of the acceleration or power, just worried about keeping it going straight. A little side to side is ok for me; but, when I see skid marks that lead off the road, I'm reminded that I want to stay on the road! Be careful and don't let your...

I found the rattle I was looking for. It's right here. Notice the excessive wear on left image. The wear was only on the one side. I could probably get away with just replacing the pin that is worn; but, I think I'll just get a whole new clutch fork. Doesn't it look clean? This is...

Got a little more work done tonight. Here's the clutch. This is an 'F1 Racing' 'Stage II' Clutch. One that I will NEVER buy again or recommend to anyone. This clutch slipped on my first run after a 500 mile proper break in and only got worse from there. It has approximately 5k miles on it.

    idles, revs then stumbles

Oh, I gotcha. You had TE1 and E1 shorted to try and catch what code it was throwing right as it died. I'm with ya now. ;) OP: Here's the check out for the TPS. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=101

    idles, revs then stumbles

The check engine light always comes on when it's about to die and after it dies. Nothing to note there. Sounds like a vac/boost leak to me. Did you reconnect the vac line on the bottom of the accordian hose?

    Insteresting starting problem...

Wrong. Be VERY careful when posting in a Tech Section that you're posting correct information. To OP: Ensure that all of your timing marks are lined up correctly. Then remove the #1 Spark Plug and put in a wooden dowel or something similar. Then (by hand) rotate the engine back...
