Syncro Question. Are these the right ones? (w/pic)

While inspecting the syncro's in the kit from Driftmotion, the syncros are different. I have three like the one on the bottom and two like the one on top. All of the syncros in the tranny currently are all the same and look like the one on the bottom. Any insight would be great! Thanks!

    Need help!!! R154

Once the pressure plate bolts are out, then start jiggling or "LIGHTLY" prying on the clutch fork. It should come out with little difficulty. I've included a pic of one removed. The clutch fork comes out in the direction of lower right. Put another way, imagine a clock and push on top of...

The tranny is apart. Nothing unusual for a ~140k tranny. All syncros are floppy-juh-loppy and most of the bearings and seals are worn. All clearances are within spec. Some of them are borderline; but, should fall back into spec when the new inards are in. Here's some tranny pics. The...

    valve stem fell...keeper question

I didn't think about that. What made me think of a lean condition was that I did have an 800 rpm lean hole in my tune (13.4 afr) that I didn't find for about a week. I suppose that could've contributed too...?

    valve stem fell...keeper question

Thanks IJ. I noticed that a few of my valves are white indicating a lean condition. Aside from "gently" removing the build up, is there anything I can/should look for that would indicate failure? I can post a pic or even start a new thread if necessary.

    valve stem fell...keeper question

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I'll be changing valve stem seals here in about a week so all of this information is very timely.

From the factory they were under-torq’d. Toyota had a recall to increase the torque to around 72 ftlbs. I don’t remember the exact number though. Aside from that, the next biggest destroyer of the stock Head Gasket is Detonation. This happens because people turn up the boost...

Ah! You've got a little ways to go then. Well, I'm sure you know all about our Head Gasket issues. You've seen pics of that right here in my build thread! ;) Focus on getting your HG done and careful with that boost until you do so! :)

At 294 I had the following: Metal HG ARP Studs Intake Exhaust FPR 20G Turbo And a stock fuel system (everything but the FPR and MHG came with the car) I could've put down more power; but, didn't want to push the stock fuel system any harder. If I was starting from scratch, I...

The stock CT will get you good power. A turbo upgrade is the last thing I would do. There are more important things to do first. Here's a list of what I would do, and in this order... Head Gasket ARP Headstuds/Bolts Intake Exhaust Wideband (if you get an AFC at this point, you can get...
