    Anyone here got Bioshock yet?

Yup, working on it in small chunks here - got it the day it was released, playing it on the PC, in 1920x1200 res. Still getting 35fps, too. Can't play it while the 4 year old is awake though, he REALLY wants to watch daddy playing, and it's more than a bit violent. I've just finished...

What to do with my money?

Basic maintenance - hoses, gaskets, everything that will age. Especially the stupid little rubber plug on the coolant hardline at the back of the exhaust manifold, that thing is responsible for more warped heads on our car than anything else except the head bolt torque. And it's a $3 part...

    Camshaft Bearing Caps Scored Up

Chances are this is perfectly normal. Every set I've seen to date looks scored. As long as they turn properly, it's never been a problem.

    Integrated VS bolt on elbow

I'd buy another of Randy's (bic performance) in a heartbeat. I'd also never buy another elbow / dp combo, single piece for me all the way. SO much easier to deal with. If you pick up the DDP, you may drop your plans to upgrade from the stock CT... :D

    chip/flash ECU

I think Reg Reimer still does ECU upgrades out of Alberta, Canada as well, but from what I've heard, the cost is equivalent to buying a standalone...

Problems upon initial startup after new hg

You did check that the rivets in the Cometic don't sit on the sealing surface, right? Otherwise it won't seal worth a damn...

new water in spark plug valleys?

More likely it's just water from washing the engine. You should pull off the coilpacks and throttle linkage, then soak up all the water you can with paper towels, pull the plugs, blow everything off with compressed air, let it dry, then re-assemble.

    7m-GTE rebuild opinions

What he said... and OEM bearings. Get a new oil pump, and a new waterpump. Somebody on here makes a new oil pump hose - Driftmotion? Toyota freeze plugs and seals. HKS head gasket.

    Cool cheap old cars?

If you're going to go back to the 70s for a 1st gen Celica, try to find one of the ~77 Corolla SR5 models. They were un-freaking believable.

    coolant

Dealer only or pick on up used from someone parting a car. It's not THAT important, you can route the charcoal canister straight into the intake... but I like to have it.

Anyone ever use this Cooleeze Turbo inlet pipe?

The only problem I have with a part like this is that the intake tract is something that any performance enthusiast will want to muck with a fair bit. Take me, for instance - I bought a new accordian hose, then wanted to mount 2 BOVs, then switched to a MAFT basic, then switched to a MAFT PRO...

    Intercooler cleaning possible?

How bad this is will depend on how much blowby your engine has. An engine in good shape will have virtually no oil in the IC. And a catch can will help. An engine in poor shape will fill the IC with oil quickly.

    N/a Mk3 vs N/a Mk2

The ultimate combination is a Mk2 shell with a newer engine in it. The weight difference between the two shells means that you can run with much less power and still be competitive.
