You were doing pretty good until here... if you can get a 10mm socket over the ARP nuts, you're a wizard. You need a 14mm. I'm with IJ on the stock bolts, they should work fine. That said, the ARP hardware is a significant upgrade and most people do it just for the extra insurance. Oh, and...

Get the snow tires. They work awesome - I use Michelin mud & snows. When you end up on questionable traction, take it easy and you'll be fine. The Supra with snow tires on it will track better than a 4wd with all seasons.

Same as it is on the regular AFM - the electronics don't change, it just lets through more air for the same reading. The frequency where FC hits is depandant on a bunch of other factors, too. Back when I was running one, I'd hit FC ~1400 on average as I recall.

What kind of pressure are you running through the SP61? I suspect you're just hitting FC at the limit of the Lexus AFM now...
