You're welcome to check with the fellow who made them - his screen name is ARZ here - but I suspect you're out of luck. I suspect that he isn't making any more.

cheapest way to build a 11 second still street legal car. or semi street legal

Not much. The damn car only weighs 1700 lbs. An 11s Supra needs, what, about 500 whp, so a bug with half the weight would only need about 250.

cheapest way to build a 11 second still street legal car. or semi street legal

Porsche engines fit, from what I understand, and they probably aren't ridiculously expensive over the pond... There are a few guys over here that run 10-11s passes in old bugs, but I haven't spent a lot of time talking to them about how much they have invested!

I'm about to install a fpr, and I have some Q's

Thanks for the offer... but I suspect that cross border shipping both ways would hurt a little too much. Luckily I have some contacts up here for anodizing! :D

cheapest way to build a 11 second still street legal car. or semi street legal

In the USA, (and likely Canada & Mexico, too) the easiest route would be the Mustang by a significant margin. The aftermarket support for the car is unbelievable, it's almost like it was designed for the 1/4 mile! ;) The only other thing I'd be willing to consider is an old Volkswagen Bug...

I'm about to install a fpr, and I have some Q's

What kind of AFPR is that? I like the blue... I've been seriously considering taking mine apart and having it re-anodized blue.

So, your design is done. Attached is a picture... Now all I need is the file format(s) your embroidery shop can accept, and a confirmed size. And of course, if there is anything you'd like done differently, let me know.

What type of torque wrench do you all use to work on your Supra?

I have both click and beam. The beam type is TERRIBLE for anything over ~40, or where you have to bend over, like torquing the head bolts in the engine bay. Click type rocks there. Snap on has ones that beep or vibrate as well, they are awesome. On my list of things to buy.

    Gas price: Will rise

To be honest, hurricanes will play havoc with the price in areas that can be affected. That's actually real price reactions, however - lots of people try to fill up in a short time period, demand goes up, price goes up. Add to that the fact that it's harder for the gas stations to get supply -...

    MAFT install manual preview

Not many - your best bet is to find a shop that specializes in the DSM cars - Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser. That where this idea originated from, and it's been available (and popular) for those vehicles for a lot longer. Just remember that they can't tune by knock on the...

    Greddy declared bankruptcy today

I'm with Figgie here, folks. Something is seriously wrong, but I rather doubt the knockoff market has much influence. Companies spend money in distinct areas. Marketing, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, R&D, labor, etc, etc. Most of those areas, under a competent business manager...

Who thinks the LHC will end the world or have any chance of doing anything harmful?

By no means is it likely to happen. Would I live in a house with the LHC in my back yard? Sure! The folks working there are *scientists*. They got where they are by being *smart*. Smart people rarely stay where they can get blown up. Look around the world at Nuclear power, for instance...
