The cams can only go on in three positions, and if they are in the middle spot you're fine. I've never seen the other two settings used.

After alignment, I don't remember where the cam lobe ends up... doesn't really matter, the cam lobe is just a shortcut for this method.

Nah, nothing that interesting. I've got a shitload of stuff to put on the car, but the vast majority of it won't be done for Vegas... suspension bushings, digital dash, etc, etc.

If they aren't aligned, you just pull off the timing belt, align them, and put it back on. It's pretty easy to do.

If you're at all concerned, I'd pull the top timing belt cover, crank the front main pulley around to zero degrees, and make sure the cam gears line up with the notches in the rear cover. It's not that big of a deal to do, and it sure takes the guesswork out of it.

I don't think that is a Supra. - Intake is on the wrong side. - Fusebox is on the wrong side. - Radiator cap is in the middle instead of the side. Looks like someone snuck a Nissan into a Toyota video.

Yes. And the in-cabin option is a waste. You'll spend the first 20 minutes adjusting it, then it's done, and you'll never touch it again.
