First kidlet?
Bring something with you to keep you busy. Stack of car mags, couple books,... playstation...
The first one always takes a long time. My wife was dilated by 5cm and it still took another 23 hours from there.
Remember to bring your baby seat, I don't think they'll let...
Or the ebrake isn't releasing all the way. If it's the same as a master cylinder, it has to go all the way back to it's rest position before pressure can bleed off.
So just to clarify, the problem is that when you step on the brakes, the rear wheels lock? They still release fine when you let off the pedal, right?
Are you running the ABS or non-ABS?
So does this switch you from using the drum based ebrake to activating the rear discs instead?
That's more than a little bit silly, IMO. The whole idea behind the ebrake is that it will still function well enough to stop the car after some piece of debris tears a hole in your hydraulics...
It should be instant. I set mine to 11.2 and it's always been 11.2, there was no learning curve. Among other reasons, the MAFT Pro doesn't learn like that - it's fast enough that it just calculates it on the fly.
J tube bypassed or drilled out?
Walbro fuel pump... how is it hooked up? To the stock wiring, or rewired? Has the 12v fuel pump mod been done?
How's the idle - rpm, smooth / rough, anything odd there?
Yes, the clearances will change a bit after you run the engine for a while. I put them in a bit on the loose side, and they generally tighten up to about the middle of the range.
I also tend to run it for ~500 miles, then pull the valve covers and check the clearances again.
