Autometer will work just fine
name brand is no better.
The reason you hear about all the issues with autometer is as always pure statistics. Autometer sell about 10x more than all HKS, DFI, Greddy, Blitz guages COMBINED. More guages out there More problems will be reported ;)
so let me get this straight
200 lbs man vs 3500 lbs of mechanical force wanting to go straight.
I hope for you own life sake that you never lose control of the car or hit a significant bump at speed..
I am going to put it bluntly. Upgradedsupra this is for you too.
You nor anyone on here...
Toda racing
Ted components
btw anything that is as aggresive or has the same amount of lift as the group A cams needs shimless buckets. What this means to you is expect to shell out nearly 2000 on just cams and shimlessbusckets AND new valve springs at the very least.
signal swtiched to mass = singal is switched to ground. BUT unless you replaced the harness going to the rear of the car. Why are you even looking at the rear. The engine harness is independant and seperate from the other harnesses.
HK$ is no better than JE and Ross
as a matter of fact i would trust Ross, JE or Wiseco more than HKS.
As for the cams
you are going to spend a nice dime on them.
So you can look at the Group A cams if they are REALLY group a but also look at Toda and Tedscomponents cams.
This is what started all this stuff

the 1jz does not have the same HG issue as the 7m.
BUT here is one issue. Being in california, SMOG, the 1jz will not pass visual and it MIGHT or might not pass sniffer. Of course if you give the referee a benjamin or two then it is not an issue.
no problem
but just to clarify a bit more
the guage that you use is probably one of those bolt on ones? If so then yes barometric changes will affect guage reading. The reason is that it uses atmosphere as the reference.
ninjaedit:: did't know it was liqued fill. Those are worst because...
unless you running E-85 then it doesn't ;)

You should really consider a spell check (like IJ suggested) if you are a business on here. Nothing will deter potential buyers away faster than a post that has misspelled words all over the post. BTW currently there is a aftermarket fuel rail...
jimi
I hope you never go to a drag strip with that setup as you will not pass inspection and more than likely get banned on the spot. That is highly unsafe setup to be running fuel inside the cabin.
