answer is simple. Why run two? More chance of failure and unless you are somehow MONITORING that both pumps are running. All it takes is one lean run to destroy an engine.
Do it right the first time or do it right the second time after you blow the motor up from cheaping out/cutting corners...

you need to fix the headgasket issue.
THEN
you need to flush out the oil system.. THEN. You need to prime the car with oil then hopefully no bearing damage.

How is a 20w bulb that are found in most FOG LAMPS (that is what you have there) be brighter than the stock 35wL/55wH that are our normal sealed beam headlights? Hell those fogs even...
