Dude chill the fuck out. Ive seen plenty of haters on here that hate hondas for no apparent reason. I DD a damn honda and have had the same one since i was 16..because its fucking reliable. And in fact my user name is my Honda. Take a joke. Fuck.
With the 6-speed. Yes id say thats a pretty good deal. Ive put quite a few JDM motors in cars(not Toyota) and ive had great experiences with them. I'll see how this JDM 7m will work for me. Id go with the cheapest you can get it in good working order.
I seriously doubt you will have a problem.Unless your going with some HUGE domed pistons. You can install pistons and clay the motor to check your valve-piston clearances.
If the clearances are to close for your liking, get a thicker MHG. Of course that might cancel out your high comp. pistons.
I think its kinda funny since ATL and pretty much everytown north of it has emissions..While my town 65miles south of ATL doesnt have emissions.Or pretty much anywhere below atl doesnt. Either of my cars would fail with flying colors.
What are these company's you're getting quotes from?

I dont know if you can tell just by looking but my JDM motors turbo doesnt look ceramic.(7m) Did JDM motors come with an oil baffle? I havnt taken the oilpan off mine yet, guess i'll find out soon enough.
So what did they do about this positive pressure in Japan? Like i said my JDM motor doesnt have a BVSV on it or even a port for it. They had to have had some kind of EVAP system or..maybe not i dunno..
Yea it might be a good idea to send your injectors out and get them tested.
Im sure its some kind of problem you're overlooking concerning the swap. I'll let the jz gurus step in.
Turbo engines will use some oil.Im sure even newer turbo motors will use some oil.Even honda dohc vtecs use a little oil. Gray smoke is usually just fuel smoke that is normally associated with turbod cars. When under boost, turbo motors run rich. Oil smoke is normally blue or in extreme cases of...
Thanks..Yea..me being an idiot just remembered this site has a search function and i found like 9000 threads on removing the CC. My line is cracked going to the CC and my JDM motor has no BVSV and the one on my old motor is broken. And i do not have emissions here yet :chicken:
