It's a rebuild kit without the "hard parts", so it doesn't include the steel disks, pins, et al. It has the clutches, seals & gaskets. Another point, there is a difference between the turbo A340E & the non turbo A340E. IIRC, the NA A340E has 4 clutches in the 1st & 2nd brakes (clutch packs)...

You have to pull the tranny. If you've never worked on a auto tranny, I wouldn't recommend this repair. I'd go ahead and buy a banner rebuild set & have it rebuilt. Pulling the tranny isn't fun, at least it wasn't for me, so I'd have everything done in one shot.

using the Lex AFM / SAFC combo won't cause you to run lean. Adjusting the AF with SAFC is doing nothing more than scaling the reading from the AFM. Your adjustments should be made based on wide band readings, and as long as you tune with a wide band, you shouldn't run lean.

I agree. I don't want to go thru the hassle of fabricating downpipes, oil lines, et al, then buy a T4 & manifold, but I do want a better flowing exhaust manifold. There has to be good market for such an item.

I haven't seen a bolt on upgrade exhaust manifold. I want one because the stock cast POS sucks & I don't want to have to change to a T4. Why doesn't someone make one?

It doesn't matter as long as your crank pulley reads 0 & your timing marks on your cams are lined up with the notches on the back of the timing belt cover (assuming that the cam gears haven't been rotated on the cams).
