torque plate is that
a plate used to apply torque to the engine block (like if the head where really on the block) to get the cylinder as true as a machine can.
basic torque rotation.
think of a wheel as a gyroscope.
The faster the wheels rotates the less it wants to be turned. So in reallity the faster you go the harder it will get. The other reason is that the powersteering in our cars is not geared as such to give you that much leverage hence the...
well actually you can....10's is easy. Don't need lots of power for that (500 rwhp is all it take in 3200 lbs vehicle). Just need the appropiate suspension setup (which in an IRS car is what makes it hard) . :)
and not for anything but (third time I say this)
Mibrum IS putting down 1350 hp...
forefront of the oil cooling and "upgrade" conversation along with Adam, Adjuster, Mike, IJ. and I think Duane also put his input on that too.
umm I don't run VPC. Never have (Motec here). Will Neely did, which was a shame too because with what he had, he definetly had lots more power left on...
Satan
the one wire water temp sensor is the guage only sensor. It has no feed to the ECU. The one you are thinking about is a two wire ND sensor. Should be about 12mm thread, forget the pitch. The one wire one is BPT (NPT can fit but it will crossthread since it is 18 threads per inch for NPT...
psst
there is that Rod knock thing , you know, the part that is the lack of oil part like in your case. ;)
so genews 520 rwhp equals how much crank?
ooh wait you guys didn't say which one..... ;)
Man i really should bring the real levies because these damn waves are endless.............
you bring a great point about rebuild, rebuild, and stupid people.
you want to know how many motors Will N GRENADED on his quest to the 720 RWHP? Mind you it wasn't thrown rods, or spun...
actually statistically challeneged.
that is within the 1% - 2% deviation of all dyno's ;)
so technically it is ;)
so as with your arguments so far. You LOSE.
well as I stated
no rockwell testing has been done on the OEM washer so it is hard to even say, go with this type of alloy to increase longevity as we don't even know what the stock one is :)
also no "bearing" based washer was good enough as the calculated load would destroy all bearing...
you MIGHT know but scoring on the cams means you let the motor run low on oil. CAPICHE? You are arguing like it is a fucking debate. There is no debate. The motor does not die just because it wants to that day and time.
Cause and effect. Rod knock is the effect, cause is low oil. Period...
I know Dana :)
what people (nor the Rookies) understand is that no matter how you cut it, it takes MONEY and a SHIT load of money to make power RELIABLY! The engine is IRRELEVANT.
Luckily unlike the MKIV guys that had to pay R&D costs to get this going (and that cost quite a bit of money as...
claimed? no man those are facts.
the 7m oiling system has always been high volume low pressure system. From a techincal standpoint it does what it needs to do and that is lubricate.
As to why the change? quite simple really. People are stupid, they see 30 psi in every other car and then go...
