apparently you missed my other post in the other section. see 7mpower.com Orian and trent. Those are two that chose to leave there names up even two years after the fact. Bone stock save for turbo :) actaully you CAN use high pressure system ;) you just restrict the flow (Perfect EXAMPLE of...

Why I ditched my 7MGTE and went 2JZ NAT with AEM

really? <-- apparently HKS was running a 2jz then!! congrats, that is the correct allen head measurement but the thread itself is 12mm x 1.25 ;) so you were ALMOST correct ;) When a bolt is measured, the pitch of the thread and the diameter of the thread is what is explained by the numbers i...

infact it was :).. incase you missed it, over revved in a patch of ice ;) Though at least you are paying attention now. :) sorry slick. Apparently you don't understand what facts are. Unlike opinions, facts are NOT debatable regardless of what you think ;) The 7m ONLY oiling "issue" is the...

7M Block is better than 2JZ Block

Rod Knock is in fact user stupidity (error is not harsh enough) See the nice thing about oil. You don't have to TOUCH the motor or take it apart, there is a handy dandy thing Toyota included in all engines that checks the level of the oil is at the optimum point. Of course the ignorant...

and how, prey tell, do you know what I did with mine as I never have posted numbers, even now with the engine reborn ;) Seeing as you like selective reading, I did run a Greddy TD06 in my supra ;) the subject in question here is the 7m, mine along with Duane's are both 7m, both now AND...

7M Block is better than 2JZ Block

quite easily actually. again, user error (which all rod knocks issues are regardless of what you think or who you would like to blame) takes care of 99% of all 7m's. btw see my replies to you "statements" in that other engine thread.

Why I ditched my 7MGTE and went 2JZ NAT with AEM

only as good as the person takes care of it. 220,000 miles here on a modded 7m. Never BHG, never rod knock until the day it died no thanks to an ice patch and over rev. ;) you are aware that your all might 2jz has 10mm head bolts instead of the 12mm that came stock with the 7m. The 2jz...

My you make lots of assumptions...... 220,000 miles on mine. Owned since 94. Never cracked the engine open. was living on a td06 for quite a while. no BHG, car went from South Dakota to Miami, Florida (yes that means the 7m saw snow time). Miami, Florida to Minnesota, yes that also means...

just a piece of inefficent metal as all internal combustion engines are. loki I forgot to address your post in my retort :) the price is extremly reasonable espeically if they have experience with the 7m. Make sure that if they are going to hone and overbore the cylinders. Talk to Ron...

12v Optima red top battery in Toyota Supra Turbo/good or bad??

if you can get the Optimas at diehard prices or cheaper. By all means go for it. If you are going to pay full price. Not worth it. P.S It will be a cold day in hell before I put a Optima anything in my car ever again.

well not cheap enough apparently as the 350 was $300 which is CHEAPER CHEAPER CHEAPER!! And since it is carb, no need for piggy backs, standalones, or any of that pricey (yes even used) nonesense ;) Sounds to me like you have a 2jz hardon.

So, how about a titanium thrust washer?

Hey Mike where you in that discussion we had here with myself, IJ. and Grant also on this very subject? The only thing that I though to help with cooling that area also was active lubrication or molybendium coating of the thrust washer. basically we came to the same conclusion that the...

7M Block is better than 2JZ Block

oh actually I have and 302, 305, 350, 383 etc etc. Datsun inline 6 (2.8 out of the 280) old chevy inline 6 (256 ci if I recall). again, a piece of metal with more metal in a reciprocating configuration (regardless if it is 4, 6, 8, 12 cylinders). Not to hard to screw up unless measurements...

7M Block is better than 2JZ Block

waaaaahhhhhh!!! Go cry a river else where. Just because you were not bright enough to get a MOTOR running correctly doesn't mean anything except YOUR lack of knowledge. A piece of iron with metal moving parts are the same and quite easy to put together and make it relaible (100,000 Miles at...
