Turbo is hot very very hot??

Reusing the old head bolts is not good. Factory head bolts have a tendency to strech and should only be used once so the torque reading you got was probably incorrect. Get new ones from toyota or bite the bullet and get arp hardware. Do this not and ye shall receive ::bhg:: Get a...

    1987 TOPLESS SUPRA

Eewwwwwwwww! WTF was he thinking!?!? All its missing now is a welded up suspension and 20+ inch wheels to achive the most ghetto supra ever award. The owner needs to be shot for defacing a supra.

    woohooo my car got egged

Yes, but you must be carefull to not burn the paint with the compound. It's is easier than you might think! Don't stay in one area keep it moving and less is more with compound. Do it in this order: wash, wetsand, compound with a wavy pad(if you have one) Then buff ,with a different pad...

Has any one used these coilovers? pic.

Unfortunatley I have to admit that I purchased those 4~5 years back for my NA supra. I had no money and my struts and springs were shot, I saw those and thought Cool! :3d_frown: After installing them and driving for all of 6 min I knew I had been screwed. Horrific ride quality and unstable...

    woohooo my car got egged

Damn I hate stupid people disrespecting our supras! Wash it off asap then claybar, then light duty cream compound(not sandy kind) use a high speed buffer with cream wax then a high grade carnuba. Thats how I do it and I'm a detailer. 50% of the time you can never tell it happened at all...

6ga is good for power and ground but 16-12 is fine for the signal wire from the radio harness. Soundwave is going to bring the pipe over so I can send it to you. He is busy so have patience. Strarter problem resolved itself? Never had that happen before lol. My next task on my car...

    Burning Coolant (BHG? Intake?)

Turbo gets an extra one below the t-stat housing 1 inch fron the manifold behind the ps resovoir. little 90 degree elbow from hell just like the one at the back. Had a leaky one took me an hour of searching the bay before I saw the damn thing. I thought I had a crack somewhere at first!:runaway:

    head bolts and intercooler

Ok so basicaly like stock.....well you will probably be good for like 8-10 psi but after that you might want to look at a felpro or a metal gasket(MHG requires lots of prep work!). If you reused the stock bolts you are on borrowed time. If you used new stock bolts they should be ok at stock...

    head bolts and intercooler

What you want Intercooler wise is a spearco style ic with both inlet and outlet on the same side so you don't have to have too many extra bends restricting flow. A bunch of people make spearco knockoffs and IIRC 935 here on the forum sells one for like 300$. Drop the tube and fin and replace...

    head bolts and intercooler

Loose head bolts will result in a BHG. Arp bolts requre re-torque after a few heat cycles as well as preloading to get proper torque readings during install. Are you pulling the head for a headgasket job or just wanting to change the bolts? what mods are you runnig or planning to run?

    Burning Coolant (BHG? Intake?)

One of the first things I had to replace on my N/A supra(long list). PITA! Why did toyota put rubber by the exhaust manifold anyway?

Okay guys...I need help..ALOT of help

.......OK. Pic problem is your digi cam settings, read the manual and it will tell you how to adjust the pic size shutter speed ect... Wire size from radio harness to relay is irrelevant; it just carries a signal so those will do fine. Only wires that matter are power and ground 10ga or...

    turbo an NA 7M

Ok! I understand your point; higher compresion equates to more power. Thats obvious. Guess I should have worded it, a swap is easier and faster time wise. I wanted to do an NA-T when I had my old 87 but after reading up, as you say, I found it would be easier and cheaper to just drop in a...
