Yea I am pretty sure that is why, when I did my head gasket I lined up the CPS with TDC and when she first fired up I just sat there in amazement that I did this.

I am going to set the motor to TDC then adjust the CPS to TDC and go from there I am pretty sure the timing is off because I am not 100% that when I put the CPS back in that it was in the same position as before.
